Future of HR welcomes EAPA-SA as new association partner for Summit & Awards
EAPA-SA, the largest association in South Africa’s employee assistance and wellness industry, has entrenched its support for human resources practices in South Africa by coming aboard as new association partner at the upcoming Future of HR Summit & Awards.
The Future of HR Summit & Awards will take place from 19 to 20 July 2017 at Birchwood Hotel in Johannesburg. In partnership with Careers24, the Future of HR Summit & Awards brings together CEOs, directors, human capital specialists and HODs from across South Africa.
EAPA-SA’s portfolio holder of Sponsorship and Stakeholders Relations, Dr Marion Borcherds says the partnership between EAPA-SA and Future of HR is “a natural fit” as both organisations share the same core values around human capital management.
As a thought leader in the employee wellness space, Borcherds has a career that spans over 20 years in senior management and executive positions in the field of employee assistance. “EAPA-SA sets the standard for the employee assistance profession in South Africa, especially when it comes to human capital practices,” she says.
The Employee Assistance Professionals Association of South Africa (EAPA-SA) is a professionally recognised, non-profit organisation committed to keeping members abreast on both national and international EAP trends through capacity-building workshops and networking events around the country.
EAPA-SA is hosting its upcoming 19th annual EAPA-SA Conference at Emperors Palace Convention Centre near Kempton Park from 19 to 22 September 2017. The theme for this year’s conference is ‘RESPONSE-ability: Engaging to Shape the Ideal Workplace’. Visit www.eapasaconference.co.za for more information.
EAPA-SA President, Mr. Tinyiko Godfrey says these are exciting times for EAPA-SA as the organisation “continues to grow, remaining adaptable, motivated and responsive to the needs of its members.”
“We continue to thrive in the most challenging economic times through enduring partnerships with our key service providers, exhibitors, sponsors, NGOs and other associations from the private and public sector. This year, we continue to cement our partnerships with those who have made significant contributions towards the growth of the EAP profession,” Godfrey says.
Future of HR’s Director Karla Fletcher, says it’s an honour and privilege to bring EAPA-SA into the fold. “EAPA-SA are front runners in the employee assistance and wellness space, and this partnership will only bolster Future of HR Summit & Awards’s commitment to educating delegates and attendees on human capital management. We look forward to having them onboard,” she says.
